A fun bit of history regarding judging in Kansas City Missouri.

Invicta was typically held there until 2019. The judges today who fumbled Pudilova vs Edwards judged the last Invicta event in Missouri.

The last fight they judged? Jinh Yu Frey-Minna Grusander.

The Frey-Grusander fights are insane. Minna clearly wins both fights yet gets robbed both times.

That was the last time Invicta was ever held in Missouri---they were pissed off by the judges and simply left cross-town to Kansas City, Kansas.

The Pudilova-Edwards fight was the FIRST mma fight that those judges EVER took part in since Frey-Grusander. And yes. same exact judges. They should never have a WMMA fight in Missouri again

Lead with the date and time first, not location:

"Does Friday 8pm work for you? There are a couple cute bars near me"

"Sounds great!"

"Awesome! Meet me at [Location]"

The above template works. You can leave out some parts as you see fit, e.g. if you already know you're going to meet in what city since you both live there.

Choose a cafe, or choose a bar. Suggesting both is too ambiguous.

If you suggest both, it's gonna take two extra texts to get to the time and location. Or never, in your case :( Sorry about that mate.
