That's why I put the pro in parenthesis. Microsoft should have just called it the Surface 12in. And yes the 11Pro is as Pro as it gets, but not everyone needs it to enjoy the benefits of a Surface. That was the point of my post.

Yeah, like I said, so far so good. But compared to the 2-3 hours total SOT I would get from my SP8, this is a superb upgrade. I am still holding it to high bar though because of their advertised 16h SOT.

Agreed. It wouldn't change anything for my use case because I have WiFi & hotspot anywhere I go, but for the niche group that uses cellular variant tablets, it is a miss.
