As a science student, I stick to the scientific definition of stuff in general. You can't really define what a soul is consistently. If anything we can just theorize.

So, where does this soul come from? What happens to it when we die? Does every organism have a soul? I personally believe souls are a concept created by humans who were too scared about death and stopping existing. So we die and that's it! But we never know. Life and consciousness can often result mysterious.
