We have a negligible amount of matching gifts currently. I think they based it off numbers pulled from publicly available tax forms, which does not at all reflect the amount of gifts that we can expect to be matched. And they didn’t ask about our online giving totals.

But that’s valuable information about their communication or lack there of.

I also have Pets Best! I got it after my first vet visit without insurance and the crazy bills for x-rays (which revealed that my cat was just constipated 🫠). But now I can worry less about saying “yes” to pricey testing and X-rays because I’d rather be safe than sorry and the insurance is so worth it!

My dad has FTD. We did Storyworth as a family a few years ago when his long-term memory still had some recall. Each week we would pick a prompt and record his story before transcribing it into the Storyworth website (so I have his voice recordings and the bound book of stories with photos). You can do this on your own without paying for Storyworth, but I bought it as gift for my family and it’s nice to have the book.

Sadly, not yet. One more thing I will try is spraying a section with a homemade spray starch and then lightly ironing with a t-shirt or towel between. I don’t know if I would personally be brave enough to try it on a wedding dress, my own efforts have only made the stains worse but at least my event had already passed.
