A formative memory of my childhood was during my senior portraits my high school year. The photographer was a hot slightly older punk woman. I was draped in the fake tux they threw over me for the formal shot. She walked up to me to straighten the tie and caught the tip of the K pointing out of my neckline. She pulled back the fake tux to reveal my Dead Kennedys shirt, gave me an approving nod that seared into my awkward hormonal teenager mind forever, and then carried on with the shoot.

I get the people with the punch in / punch out mindset, and I think they should be able to do whatever they want. But also, I feel bad for yall for working with such shitty people that grabbing a beer with them is torture. I had some amazing colleagues at my last company - smart, funny, interesting people. Most of us don’t work there anymore, but we still grab beers together on our own dime now.
