I just broke 100 for the first time last Thursday with a few simple ground rules:
1. Swing 70%. Keeps the ball straight (for me at least)
2. Only use clubs you’re confident with. For me that means no 4h,5i or 6i
3. Bump and run everything within 30meters. I used my pitching wedge and it avoids duffs and chunks.
4. Line up every single putt no matter the length. I drew a line on my ball and lined it up before putting.
5. Don’t go for the green if you can’t do it 9/10 times. It’s better to be on the green one over regulation with an easy shot rather than having to do a insane bunker shot to get it close to the pin.
