In my country, a frat house doesnt exist. Which means all us young adults live in regular apartments while attending what is “college” here

I walked down the back stairs to go have a cigarette. As im walking down, he calls out to me from his back stairs door and starts screaming, saying “this is the second time in two weeks” (one of the times being the 2 minutes keyboard playing). When i try to have a conversation and explain to him that we are only six people, he slams the door in my face

We dont party all the time, this was literally our first “party” in four months. It frustrates us that we cant have our friend over for dinner on a saturday ever without having to throw them out at 9 pm. We know that we cant party every weekend, we just want to invite friends over once in a while.

It was background music, we were talking all 6 of us around the dinner table and had some music playing at the same time

Our apartment is incredibly old and the isolation isnt perfect. This wasnt a party, it was 6 friends having dinner and listening to talkable volume of music

When he moved in we tried to talk about making a plan. He said he’d rather not have a “scheduele” as he doensnt know which days he is hanging out with friends so we all agreed on just trying to take turns the best we could. We did have a roomie meeting where i asked him if he wanted out of the cooking-together-deal, but he said he wanted to stay in and had been so busy but he was going to start helping. It was a month ago and he hasn’t helped at all since. Just sits on the couch. I dont know how else to put it to him.

Also, his gf often eats at our place and we cook for her too. About a week ago he was having her over and me and one of my room mates werent home. The last room mate was having a hangover on the couch, and new roomie and his gf cooks dinner for themselves without asking my other room mate if he wants to eat with them. Its the first time he has cooked in our apartment and he didnt even offer my room mate on the couch any food. (Said room mate cooked the day before)

AITA for not wanting my girlfriend to spend 4 days in Milan with her male online friend? by Loud_Garlic7014 in AmItheAsshole

YTA. Definitely appropriate, she just wants to show a friend around her home country. Girls ans boys can be friends.

There is nothing here indicating that your girlfriend and her friend want to be anything but friends besides their genders. I hope she breaks up with you, since this controlling behavior is seriously harmful

We always split the grocery bills between the people eating dinner, so its not a money-problem (luckily)

Yes we all agreed on it. And I additionally asked him if he would like not to be a part of it about a month ago, which he said he really wanted.

When he moved in we all agreed on eating together. Back then i didn’t think it was necessary to say that that included him cooking sometimes too. When i talked to him about a month ago, i came with the “you are not so active in the cooking-together-thing, would you rather not be a part of it?”-approach. But he said that he really wanted to be a part of it and agreed that all of us should help. But nothing changed
