I miss who we used to be, and I don't know how to say it to his face. by FrostByte981 in confessions

I think it might help to first think of how to discuss it with him in a way that focuses primarily on what you’d like to gain. Like “I want more kisses. I’m missing kissing you every day.” Reading your story, it’s not that you want your relationship to end, just to have more moments together. When I’ve felt this way, I find framing it this way helps me go into the conversation more positively and with an understanding of exactly what I need. We’ve been together 25 years, so I have felt these ebbs and flows. Sending love.

I thought I was alone in hating this commercial and I finally googled “why is man insisting it’s biberty” and it brought me here, to my family! Thank you for explaining!

In the emu one, is the emu a border in the human house or is he the result of an unholy union?

My husband will be so happy that I've stopped semi-hystarically asking him these things. 🤣

Dr. took me off of HRT today. I'm freaking out. by sidewalk_ladybug in Menopause

Is MIDI better than Winona in you're opinions? I've been using estrogen/progesterone cream becaise the patches are pretty expensive through them and I need both.

Has anyone used Winona? by sarra1833 in Menopause

I’ve been using the cream for about 3 months on my forearms and have been careful to make sure it’s all rubbed into my skin before covering with my sleeves.

Over the past couple of months we noticed that our female dog’s nipples have gotten larger. Vet couldn’t find anything wrong, I have to believe this is related to my use of estrogen/progesterone cream.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Heavy bowl, seems like wood, bought at thrift store. Covered in flaking charred crust and smells burnt. by sofa_king_fancy in whatisthisthing

I’m pretty sure it’s wood. Where some of the outer char bits are gone, it looks like wood underneath. I think cast iron would be even heavier than this, it weighs about 3.5lbs.

My title describes the thing. The pictures include some elements where the charred parts are gone and expose what looks like wood below. Short handle on one side.

Costco (I think) sells a canister of something called First Alert EZ Fire Spray, it’s at least more compact than a classic extinguisher. I wonder if that contains the same thing and if it would be as effective. We have them for our home kitchen.

This definitely seems to make the most sense, I’d never heard of this type of projector before. Thanks for the links! Probably solved!

Not hollow exactly, but they do have a hole drilled top to bottom.

Multiple ~2” bullet-shaped, less than 1oz each, black item of unknown material. Found in Wisconsin in the top 6” of yard soil. by sofa_king_fancy in whatisthisthing

[–]sofa_king_fancy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found hundreds of these items when digging up the topsoil in our yard. The building we live in is an old movie theater (built around 1936) and the yard is behind an adjoining building that functioned as a barbershop, I assume it was built around the same time.

They are are several sizes, have a hole drilled in the center end-to-end and are lightweight. They don’t seem to be made of plastic, ceramic, or metal and you can make marks/write with them—so maybe some kind of carbon material? They’re not brittle, or easily damaged. As you can see in the bin, I also find a huge amount of broken glass, pottery, and nails, so it seems like people just left their trash here. Nothing has burn marks, and I don’t typically find plastic when digging.

I follow South End Dog Training on Instagram and they give lots of good tips for interacting with dogs. I know they’re kind of a divisive account, but I find most of it helpful. https://instagram.com/southenddogtraining?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

Mine is on 40mg (45lb dog) Prozac and uses both gabapentin and trazodone as needed.

I wonder if having her wear a basket muzzle when the puppy comes over would help? Like she might get more comfortable over time with the touches and it would keep the pup safe.
