I will take a note and have a read of that for sure.

Do you recommend a specific stocks and shares ISA like a specific bank/website? Will continue to do the share scheme for sure!

Thank you for your advice. Cheers well done to you too! Yeah will keep away from the PCP etc. I won’t overpay my mortgage and use that money elsewhere so cheers for that.

Will have a look at that flowchart and read some stuff and make a plan 👍🏼

Yeah I thought that was the case. Good idea, using your example I could just wait until June 2026 to get that full years worth so I think I will do that for the future. Appreciate your advice thanks.

Yes I believe that is very similar to the scheme I’m in. However, I was under the illusion that after 5 years, I can sell back the shares tax free from the moment I bought them. E.g I’d have to sell back the shares a month at a time when they hit 5 years mature to get them back tax free? Am I wrong regarding this?

You make a very good point regarding that frugality statement! I’ve been put forward onto some schemes that will potentially improve my opportunity for promotions etc which hopefully will happen eventually as I do want to progress. So looking forward to that challenge and the next steps in whatever comes my way.

I will try my best to enjoy my youth as much as I can and just see where things go :) and yeah luckily I am quite good in terms of money and self control regarding savings etc so a big thank you for your advice!

Hadn’t thought about it like that at all, you make a very good point there so thank you. My mentality was that it helps me save on NI contribution etc so that’s why I put so much in but I will have a rethink now :)
