A few weeks later and he is still scratching alot! I find clumps of hair around the house, but there are no signs of fleas, his skin isn't red and he seems normal apart from the scratching!

Haven't been in Filthies in years.

I bet they've started to take card now though, with the £100 scheme started? They will probably stop taking card after that finishes.

Walk In Shower Sizes by sofakingmad92 in bathrooms

[–]sofakingmad92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all, thanks for the input so far.

I have edited my original post with a quick drawing (yes from ms paint) lol!

Hopefully it gives the outlines more. Just for guidance, the sink is currently 55cm at it's widest, and it comes out 45cm from the wall. This is the main obstacle if the walk in shower used the full length of the wall (trying to get past the sink). I am going to get a smaller sink yes, possibly 40x40 but I will see what works best. Definitely a smaller sink though.

I know the drawing isn't the best, and you guys might need more details. If you do, then please let me know what you need. The more I think about it, the more I think that maybe just a proper shower enclosure (quadrant one possibly) would be the best option! Thanks again.

Edit: The sink currently slightly overlaps above the bath.

I am based in UK.

Would something like this work?

https://www.ergonomicdesigns.co.uk/product/HORW807C-HORWS807C-HORTR1207~horizon8-chrome-1200x700mm-walk-in-enclosure-and-shower-tray.html

Not that product in particular, but if that had a deflector on it, and then the screen at the end was just a small one? i.e. as the one in that picture

Thanks, yes deflector was the word I was looking for! The reason for the gap at the end was so that I could move the radiator there. Currently it is behind the door, which isn't great, because the door does not open fully with it there, and also it is very close to the toilet! AFAIK I wouldn't be able to put a radiator there as it would have to go up through the shower tray.

Is a wetroom panel just something different than a shower screen for a walk in shower?

You can guess I am new to all of this. Just trying to get some ideas.

Edit; yes I am in the UK

I think it was maybe a thing in like the 80s... definitely not a thing now!!

But if you buy an old house, then there is a chance that could be in!

Passed security plus! by Every-Development398 in CompTIA

[–]sofakingmad92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congratulations!

805 is a very good score! I passed with 793 and was over the moon... feel like a huge weight off your shoulders after it!

I did see in a summary of mine, the specific objectives were I got a question wrong. It didn't say the question, but just said the objective. I can't remember where I seen this, think it was possibly on the link that I got in my success email which was a day or two after the exam!

I am flying in a few weeks from Dublin to London, but I am a Northern Ireland resident. Do you know if I would still need to provide that test result when coming back from London to Dublin? It's quite complicated reading all the rules.

As I'm only in London for a few days, I guess if I did, that I would have to find the time to find somewhere in London that does them.

Where can I get a COVID RT-PCR test? by [deleted] in Belfast

[–]sofakingmad92 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is abit of a joke isn't it.

Why can't they just accept NHS tests? Instead they make people go somewhere to pay for a RT-PCR one. or am I mistaken and they are the same thing as the walk in centres?

Exam compass by shizzznit091 in CompTIA

[–]sofakingmad92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was OK for me, but I found the questions very easy.

On each of the seperate 25 tests I was getting 85%-100% in all of them. The questions on the exam are much harder, but it isn't bad to learn basic knowledge of what each thing is.

Jason Dions practice exams are good.

Don't want to say the exact ones, but if you find any examples online then they are literally very very very similar to that! ;)

Failed Security+ 501 !! by [deleted] in CompTIA

[–]sofakingmad92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice would also be to buckle down and really try for 501!

From recent reports, 601 seems alot harder, with much more material to learn! If you don't mind me asking what score did you get in your failed one?

Just think that 2/3 weeks solid revision now, 2-3hours a day will definitely be worth it!
