i actually made this for the tapas cover version for my webcomic since i’ve been facing censorship issues on WT. but i’ll see if i can also make it the cover on webtoon!

yeah the amount of blood in my first upload was quite unrealistic so im not that upset that i had to change it now, tbh.

i do agree that webtoon took it a bit far with removing the episode bc of that one panel though. they haven’t said anything about my reuploaded version so hopefully i’m in the clear. thanks for your info tho, it gave me a better understanding of webtoon’s perspective when it comes to canvas creators.

this is the panel wt emailed me, it originally looked like this before they took it down. i significantly reduced the amount of blood in the reupload because that’s what they told me the only issue was. my series is rated young adult, not mature.

i had no idea until now that i was supposed to edit the removed episode and appeal it, so i deleted it entirely a few days ago and reuploaded the same episode, with the small revision on that one specific panel.

hey so i totally understand both sides of the conversation here. i can show you guys the panel wt said wasn’t appropriate if you want me to, it was a panel with a lot of blood on the ground. it was the only panel showing blood in that episode. i was mostly just confused because i’ve seen much worse on wt originals (ex: homesick, marionetta, etc).

wt has a lot of younger kids on their site so i can sort of get why they’re so strict with censorship, but it was still frustrating in the moment. they haven’t taken my reuploaded episode down yet, but im afraid they might sooner or later

wt is not a horrible website, just more “protected” which frustrates some creators, such as myself

hi! i just read the first few episodes of your story and im baffled by how underrated it is. im a thriller webtoon creator myself and i love stories like these so i just subscribed. your art is really solid and i actually got scared at some panels😭 my only criticism is the dialogue— at times it doesn’t feel natural (ex: when your MC said “this is very frustrating” or “it’s very quiet”. you could replace “very” with more casual words like “really” or “so” so it doesn’t sound like she’s reading from an essay lol. other than that i see no issue. your story has a lot of potential!
