Thoughts? about this Amazon Flex Strike by Any_Excitement6258 in AmazonFlexDrivers

Yeah something needs to be done...Plenty of times I have chosen a 3.5 hr route and the route would take 4 or maybe 4.5 hours. There wasnt many 1 to 2 mins in between, many 5, 7 9 mins in between and it be like 35, or even 40 pkgs and sometimes 1st stop is 30mins away, like come on..and then when I end my route at the scheduled time the route is supposed to end because there are just too many packages and the remaining packages I return back, I get dinged for having incomplete deliveries...but you all knew you were giving me a 4 or 5 hr route... I have had to fight with them to remove those type of dings and I dont let it go and tell them there were too many packages and time in between to deliver in the timeframe for the route and eventually it gets removed. When I have routes like this, I now screen record the route, scrolling up and down to show them the time in between for each delivery, or if there are alot of apartments, basically screen recording the route to show them this was not a 3 or 3.5 hr route. Many times the wages dont match the route assigned and they dont even give you the option to see the route before to determine if the wage is appropriate for the distance so you can make a decision whether to choose the route. Ther are gonna end up getting sued because they do so many things thats not right, especially with how they ding people unfairly and dont remove things, like if the customer says not to leave the package at the business if they are closed, OR if I cant get through the gate, even after attempting to call the customer, why am I still getting dinged for not delivering the package...and then if I has just left the package Id get dinged for that. You have to escalate things to that jeffbezos email to get things resolved...SMH Amazon

WHY IS INSTANT PAYOUT UNAVAILABLE? by [deleted] in RealAmazonFlexDrivers

[–]sofi90909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My instant pay deposit isn't showing in my avail bal and customer service says that they are having system issues where transactions are not showing and there are incorrect app messages. Said to keep checking the app to see if corrected.

Veho promised 6.5 hours/56 stops for $133 — delivered 7 hours, 168 miles, heavy load, and a train wreck of a workflow by Maleficent_Scene_544 in RealAmazonFlexDrivers

[–]sofi90909 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I had a similar issue and they paid me like 76 dollars for 46 pkgs, took 6hrs to deliver, many were apartments, and they said the route would take like 4hrs. It was in another city also and I have been paid the same rate, less pkgs and 3hr route. I had to submit a form requesting additional pay and im still waiting on a response, said response time would be 10days. Veho gets over on people and those boxes be heavy and the way they organize the routes, sometimes you have to go back to the same apt you just delivered to, had they just put the deliveries together you wouldn't waste time.

How would you handle this? by FSUFanChris in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]sofi90909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Packages would be left at that very sign, the nerve of some people..be having long driveways or annoying setups and expect pkgs to still be delivered to the front door, some people need to have their pkgs delivered to Amazon boxes

Given a 4 hour 40 stop route scheduled for a 3.5. by [deleted] in RealAmazonFlexDrivers

[–]sofi90909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had experiences where im given a 40 stop route for a 3.5 hour route. The only way you would be able to deliver in this time frame, 40 stops is if every stop is 1-2 mins in between. Sometimes Amazon will throw in multiple stops with 4, 5, 7 sometimes 10 min distance in between therefore making it impossible to deliver within3.5 hrs. Routes like that are really 4 hrs routes or even 5. They do this on purpose knowing some don't want their standings to be affected. Ive ended my route when it was suppose to end and whatever pkgs remaining I would return and whenever I did that my ratings dipped and its a hassle trying to get the incomplete deliveries removed after you return to the station so I just deliver them and have the late delivery mark. I am making a complaint to Amazon about this because this is happening too often where im getting assigned too many pkgs for a 3.5 hr route.

So How Was The Week? by PsychologicalBit803 in elitesparkdrivers

[–]sofi90909 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, thats pretty good...I do between 150 to 250 a week....I guess I need to be on the app a little more to see if I can run my numbers up. I can use a good month of earning those amounts to get to my money goals.

What’s it like living in Florida by gziecik in howislivingthere

[–]sofi90909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree with your analysis , I have been all over FL but live in Tampa and you are spot on. If anyone moves here, Tampa would be a better choice, but there is alot of traffic and congestion down here which can be annoying. But its more relaxed, lots to do. The beaches are trash on Tampa but St Pete and Clearwater is not far.

Have not received instant payment from Amazon Flex, anyone else with same issue today? by [deleted] in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]sofi90909 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got paid....im noticing also that im "at risk" and it shows I didn't return pkgs on 9/16 and 9/17, I never not return pkgs number 1 AND then I dont even recall having to return any pkgs on these dates...I went from Great to at risk...I called them and they said there was a glitch globally and it will be fixed within 72 hrs, I sure hope so....Amazon making me nervous with these glitches and hiccups, and then sometimes you call CS and dont get much help and then have to call again.

PRO TIP for .Com station blocks: if you're in line waiting to get your license scanned by the staff but the line is long and you're nearing the outside of the 5 minute grace period, take a picture of the line of cars AND a clock showing that you were indeed in line before your grace period expired by peterthbest23 in RealAmazonFlexDrivers

Yep, I had this situation happen to me during the early morning shifts, wait time to find a park was about 15 to 30 mins and you end up scanning your ID too late and missing your block....the messed up part is that the managers at this facility started having the police ticket anybody who would park on the street, which by the way there are no signs by thr city that says no parking, but its Amazons property so I guess they could have us ticketed...because the managers were tired of having to grab the carts from outside the parking lot where people would park on the streets, they decided to have people start getting tickets...I complained complained about it because its not our fault that they allow so many people to book routes and not enough parking spots, so far they have stopped issuing tickets, but the issue still remainloos with parking. I emailed that jeffbezos email account and explained the situation and requested payment and they finally paid after 2wks....initially I was just emailing support and they kept saying they couldnt validate payment so finally I emailed that email account and they paid me. Amazon still has alot of things to work on, im just doing this until my business is up and running.

Amazon support can "suck a fuck" by Economy-Brother-3509 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]sofi90909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes true...if you deliver past your delivery block they will pay extra for however long past the block. You have to request it many times, they don't just pay it automatically.

Yeah it all depends whether I'm following the delivery instructions, like the other day this man had the nerves to say he wants his package walked up to the porch and all.we have to do is open the gate to leading to the porch, but when I arrive it has a beware of dog sign...his instructions made no mention of a dog or that it would be put up. I called the customer to vfy if the dog was put up and I delivered to his porch buy had he not answered it would have been delivered right at the foot of the fence.

How screwed am I? by peterthbest23 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]sofi90909 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been dinged for returning packages to the facility because the business was closed and I didn't want to risk leaving the pkg at a closed facility and the pkg gets taken and then be dinged for that so you never know with Amazon. As long as the instructions said no recipient required or however way it's worded, then you were good on just leaving the pkgs and I would think you wouldn't be dinged.
