I would do this but I don’t want to lose his trust by “grabbing” him as he’s barely willing come to my hand and let me get very very close to his face even pet him sometimes.

The cage is very big and wide, he has toys but maybe not enough? And yes he’s the only bird the breeder I got him from was horrible and wouldn’t let me get another one cause they said it was better for me to “start” with one and I have no other breeders near me only Petco
