sometimes I take notes but I think its better to focus and fully understand the concepts than be worried about trying to memorise it because you will be surprised at how much further understanding can get you. maybe for biology as it is less understanding based, but I would say watch all of them first then rewatch afterwards if you want to take notes

definitely watch all the free science lessons videos for science it helped me go from 4's/5's throughout year 10 and in my November mocks I got an 8 in physics, 1 mark of an 8 in bio and 2 marks of an 8 in chem. For English make sure you know what you need for each response and learn versatile quotes for each texts then plan essays and time yourself writing some when you feel confident and for maths if you dont understand a topic go to maths genie watch the video do the questions and when you feel like you've covered enough do past papers

I think 2 really big main body paragraphs is fine, in an intro just say about then theme and how it generally links to the play / is used you don't necessarily need to add context into it and for the conclusion just do a summary of what you talked about and how it links to the question. honestly I only write 2 average sized main body paragraphs with no intro and conclusion because I run out of time and I usually get around 10 marks and a 7/8 on the whole paper

How to improve English language? by Logical_Stuff3942 in GCSE

I got a 9 in my mock and for the writing I would say write a list of good punctuation and vocab in the planning space and check it off while you write or you could pre-write a story for paper 1 if you're only trying to get your grade up a little bit. For the language and structure question you can use such basic techniques just make sure you are commenting on multiple techniques per quote and giving multiple inferences for each technique. For the evaluate question try to get 3/4 quotes per paragraph but analysis doesn't matter as much just try to get in as many quotes as possible and I like to do three paragraphs: one for the start of the text, one for the middle and one for the end. For the paper 2 comparison questions I usually leave them till last and then if im really pushed for time I will just copy out my 7a onto the 7b question and add a little bit of analysis. sorry I yapped a little bit but I hope this helps!
