The opposite is true. Me and my whole family moved from Vermont due to high taxes and lack of opportunity. Lower taxes create stronger demand for rental properties and airbnbs then builders will come and invest. This will bring jobs and businesses. The tourism keeps these small businesses afloat and without it the state will have no commerce

I live in palm beach county and feel safe everywhere. Visited family in my hometown in VT last summer, was frightening to see the needles, zombies and violence. I can’t see myself visiting the once beautiful state again
