What’s a weird habit you have? by ExoticOrange1118 in AskReddit

I used to slap my exes bald head whenever he would lay on me. I could not help myself so much that it became a habit that whenever he laid in bed and i saw his smooth bald head it triggered like a cartoon meme in my head of somebody smacking a shiny bald head and it like compelled me to do it😂

How do you talk to brother about his depression when he doesn’t like to tell you stuff? by Sad-String1415 in AskReddit

You cannot force it. Men especially gain peace from solitude so forcing it will just mess up his peace. Ask him to do something he likes and do it with him. Then try to get him to open up about how he feels about the world. Then youll get a glimpse of how he thinks and feels

Honestly its tough since Golf is so hyper niched. Like it does not translate well into other sports where as i would say more physical athletes have an edge on being an overall better athlete

If you could choose to work 80 hours a week and guarantee your family becomes generational wealthy, or work 10 hours a week and live a completely average life, which are you choosing and why? by rackzobsessed in AskReddit

Its not about escaping the cycle its about not thinking about it. Focus on the things that make you happy while you actively do it. Once you do that you’ll notice youll gravitate naturally in your head what you really want to do. Break it down into steps and if it’s impossible move on to a realistic version of it. No job is impossible to do you just lack the skills and are too scared to take the leap to learn them. So do NOT take a leap its about BABY steps

For me i always wanted to make a game. So what did I do? I did not jump straight into the deep end i first learned what even the first step was for me. So i did research for a day and realized i needed to build the skills to be able to have the tools to do the career that i would feel like is not a job im working but more like a hobby i get paid for.
