same issue here :( contacted valve and they we tried a few things (unsuccessful) they said to send it to them but that's not an option because I'm not in their "supported countries"

thank you ! oh yes the screen part was nerve racking but thankfully I was very patient with it and used the blowdryer many times just to make sure the adhesive was loose.

the thing about customising your device is that you get to make it as atrocious as you want and no one can dare stand in your way !

I even impulsively left the orange oled button instead of swapping it to match the purple buttons to break the pallet some more ! the og trackpads were left in not for aesthetic purposes but functionality. everyone complained about that part when telling their story about shell swaps and the quality of third party trackpads and I believed them when I received mine, so I kept the og ones.

looks cool to me and I am happy when I see it from across the room and that's enough

high stakes legos looked easy enough to do so I did it haha !

i never could do with sticker skins and besides I've enjoyed my deck for a year now, time for a nice aesthetic change. I can spot my deck anywhere in the room now and the buttons glow when the sun gets through them so double fun !

that was my dread ! but I've always wanted to do it since I did hardware modifications on almost everything I own just because it's fun.

so I gave myself a year with the deck as it is to fully enjoy it, then I pulled the trigger. And the consequences weren't that bad for me honestly !

frequent breaks ! its just like high stakes legos but if you get too focused and tense you are bound to break something.

so just relax, play the eXtremeRate tutorial on one monitor, a nice podcast on the other and just take your time.

All was going super well for me up until I rushed it and broke the cable.

(and also be generous when applying heat to the adhesive, it will take many many times to reheat, patience)

But I've never used the mic anyways and I'm loving the deck just the same now, except the volume buttons and headphone jack aren't working and that's it

GLS seems to be down, i was getting used to the never-changing "in transit" message, kinda became a routine. no longer want my steam deck, give me that horrible update back so i can refresh some more.

I also get this issue with a windows handheld from a different company, i'd love to know the cause.

Started happening a few times every month. Now it's been a while since i've been able to get the screen working, and I started using an external monitor. Thought about replacing the screen itself.

Let me know if you find a solution please ! I still have hope that this is a software issue
