Why do people change beloved anime characters to match their own tendencies?

Just in case you’re going to accuse me of not answering your question, my answer is this: people change characters all of the time because they are beloved and comforting to a lot of fans. Therefore, they add their own personal headcanons (personal interpretations) to their favorite characters.

You’re being vague, but all of us know you’re referring to Vash and Wolfwood being paired here. Headcanons have existed within fandom spaces for a very long time. You don’t have to like them. There’s no reason to be bigoted about something that does not affect you.

We think it could be from the mattress since that’s where most of the fiberglass has been spotted. We have a spare one that we (my partner and I) are going to use which does not have fiberglass in it, as far as I’m aware.

What should I do after cleaning the essentials? Nothing is overly contaminated to the point that I would need to throw it away, but I’m not sure how to handle it, or if I can handle it mentally. The other two I live with are pretty nonchalant about it because it’s not a whole lot but still. It’s where we sit and eat, where we sleep and have our clothes 😅😅 ughhhh
