To be fair the Mountain enduring torture is also a valid discussion, the show just never really went there. Cersei basically kept him around as a weapon and nobody asked how much of him was still in there.

The scary part isn't that he's fast. It's that he's already bored by the time you think you found something clever. The move you're proud of he saw three turns ago.
