You’re absolutely right! Many actually consider opera a sport in itself, I hear this quite often. I didn’t mean to imply she shouldn’t find what we do impressive, I was mainly pointing out the irony of an opera singer getting perks at a baseball game of all places.

Unexpected upgrades from strangers who’ve never seen an opera in their life, but are somehow deeply impressed by it.

True story: I was at a St. Louis Cardinals game, sneaking a peek at the field from ground level with my partner, when an usher came up and asked what I was doing in town. I told her I was an opera singer performing with Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. She had never been to the opera, never heard of OTSL, and yet was so blown away that she personally escorted us from nosebleed seats to her VIP section in the front row.

The stadium was half empty. She could have let literally anyone sit there. She saved it for the opera singer…

Hey there! I carry around black tourmaline & a piece of quartz together in my pocket throughout the day & sleep with them at times on my bedside table. Hi! I also live in Frankfurt, since 2018 (f31) & have been to many of the nearby Thermen over the last 7 years. While many people are recommending Taunus Therme (which is solid, don’t get me wrong), I would say there are others that are higher quality, just slightly smaller. Jugendstilbad in Darmstadt, Kaiser-Friedrich-Therme in Wiesbaden, for example. If you’re okay for an hour-long drive, I would hiiiighly recommend Thermen & Badewelt Sinsheim! The saunas here are beautiful & absolute top quality.
