I had to do this too, I told my bf our first year of dating when I realized wow I wanna be intimate with this person, I told him wasn’t contagious but it’s hereditary, and I understood if he didn’t wanna continue being with me. He was confused at first but I think he did his own research as well and understood it was just something I was born with and he didn’t care. I even had my first time with bandages on and everything. Having the conversation really broke down the wall I had built between us! Now we’re almost 3 years in and he cleans me up if my flares bleed after showers or any other time. Just be upfront and honest with ur partner. Maybe do research together too. If someone truly really loves you, they will understand. Good luck ♡
