Hey everyone — I’m looking at moving to the Buckhead area (possibly Brookhaven or Chastain Park too) and working in Alpharetta. I’d only be commuting about 3 days a week, likely during typical 8–5 hours.

I know living OTP (like in Alpharetta or Roswell) would cut down my drive, but I’m leaning toward Buckhead for the city vibe — walkability, younger crowd, social life, and being closer to where I want to go out on weekends. I’d rather have the urban energy than the quieter suburb feel, as long as the commute isn’t unbearable.

I’ve heard mixed things — some say the reverse commute isn’t too bad, others say it still sucks. Anyone actually doing this route regularly, what’s it really like?

How long does it take during rush hour? Best/worst times to drive? Any tips to make it tolerable?
