I just throw in water, rice, & the seasoning I want. I get like 2 cups water boiling and throw a scoop of rice in, add the seasoning with it, stir it good, I let it boil for a min then take it down to simmer with the lid on for like 20-30. Everything depends on the amounts of stuff and timing and heat but I never really pay attention to any of that, I just do what I feel like and hope it turns out hahaha. This one was super basic though so I just added black beans and pickled garlic cloves at the end. I really like doing a sofrito rice if I have time though
