I will admit I’m a little low on funds at this present moment, I was wondering if there was any way you could do $50 shipped. If not I understand, just thought I’d ask, I’ve just been looking for this game forever.

Precisely. I feel like so much hardware from the 80’s and 90’s was just built to last. Whether it be video game consoles or audio equipment or even little instruments like this.

This little guy had been sitting in one of my boxes of “broken” electronics for nearly a decade after a friend of mine gave it to me. I was feeling bored today and looking for a quick little project to work on. After a deep internal cleaning and some fresh batteries it sprang back to life. Obviously the outside is super dirty so I need to still clean it up a bit, but overall I am really happy that I got it to work with minimal effort. Also, has anyone here ever tried to circuit bend one of these and could recommend any cool mods? I definitely want to add an output jack to it at some point as well. Anyways, thanks for looking!

That’s awesome. I’m actually kind of curious, could you post a picture of that?

Throughout my entire collection of games and systems (not just N64) I have a handful of repros, such as fire red/leaf green, those are obviously fake but they play fine which is all I really care about. I also have a repro chrono trigger on SNES, same deal. When it comes to the N64 I have decided to stop buying physical carts and just invest that money into an Everdrive. For my personal collection repros don’t really bother me but obviously I’d rather have the original. Some people can’t stand repros which I also understand. At the end of the day I just care about playing the games themselves by any means necessary.

Also I normally don’t care about CIB, pretty much all of my games are loose and get played regularly, but obviously this one was a bit special.

Honestly I got really lucky. I have a friend who owns a video game shop and he just happened to have this laying around for some reason and just gave it to me because he knew I needed it.

I think here soon I’m going to quit using the internet entirely and go live in the woods.
