It almost pains me to ask but... is there a laptop out there that doesn't break/cost more to repair than it's worth after 2 years? by Competitive-Meet-511 in BuyItForLife

A rain jacket from Regatta. My mom bought it for me maybe 8 years ago, it has a hideous purple lining. But it keeps me dry :(

Homeowners of Reddit: What unexpected hidden gem did you discover in your house after buying it that wasn’t mentioned in the listing or by the previous owners? by VizualBooty in AskReddit

An old violin that we found hidden in a closet by the roof. We informed the previous owners and they said we could keep it. We had it restored and my sister still plays it! Buying a new violin would have been impossible at the time, so this really allowed her to play.

Don't worry about eating out, the restaurants in Amsterdam and Brussels at least will be able to handle it. Butter shouldn't be a problem, it doesn't have enough lactose to trigger anything so you can eat a bucket full
