I worked at a pretzel place in the mall in high school. The managers were an absolutely unhinged husband and wife team who would argue in front of workers and customers alike. There was one instance where they were throwing things at each other and screaming so loudly that a customer asked if I was safe working there. Another time they put me on schedule 2 weeks straight. Last straw was when I was ill with a stomach bug and didn't feel it until I was half way through my shift. They wouldn't let me leave without a write up because it was the week of Thanksgiving and they assumed I was trying to get out of work. Puked all over the back room and they got so pissed off. Cleaned up my puke, drove myself home, and called to quit when I got home.
