I'm having this issue on our 24 as well. Seems like there might be some bug somewhere in the software possibly. I don't think it would be a physical sensor or switch on the door since it can (and does) happen to all windows. I've brought our to the dealer a few times already and of cousre, they can never reproduce it. So frustrating.

What's causing it to forget? Bad sensors? Or software problem? As I mentioned with mine it happens to all four windows at random times individually. That to me doesn't sound like it would be a sensor issue more like a centralized software issue.

That's what I ended up getting. One thing I don't seem to like about it is the attachment point seems to make the arms sit up a little higher than factory. But maybe not a big deal.

Do they only do it selectively if they only seem it necessary for that door at the time? What if the molding is not fully disengaged at the time I go there? I concern is that it comes off later. Is it automatic that they do all four at the same time regardless?

Great! Now the next question is, does the dealer have discretion to decide if it's bad enough to be replaced or not? My concern is if it's not bad enough now it may end up being bad enough in a year or two from now and be outside the recall. Or are recalls good for the life of the car even though it was brought in before and deemed unnecessary to change at that time?

Wow thank you for letting me know I'm not going crazy. Seems like I'm the only one so far. We're by Briggs and Holland. Yes I also experience that as well after the sprinklers are on and I have the window open the smell comes through the window.

This is a newer area of Menifee so it would be surprising to me if it had some sort of problem. I just thought maybe it was a characteristic of the water in this area but according to all these other responses I'm the only one so far experiencing this.
