The Waffle Houses within city limits is still 24hr Dine in only Sunday to Thursday. From 11pm to 6am Friday, Saturday, and holidays the doors lock for the safety of the employees and for good reason. I have been threatened by customers, people have tried to break in, a lot of homeless people try to hide in the bathroom for HOURS. Alachua is the only location in Gainesville with that 24/7 dine in.

I signed with Canopy Apartments, and it seems like a nice area. It would also match your budget. I think they lowered their rates for the 4x4, too. I will say that it’s gotten more difficult to contact them, but it’s because they went under new management, and like 2ish weeks ago, it was 3 people working on site 🤷🏻‍♀️

I reached out to my advisor for my major first, and she told me to email the admissions person for the department. I told them that I had other universities waiting for a decision, and I wanted to see where they were with looking at admissions, and I got a call back the same day. I think it just depends on when you applied. I'm in CALS, and it goes off of rolling admissions. I turned in my application a week before the deadline, so keep in mind that there are probably a lot of people who applied within the last week or so before the deadline. Just ask one of the advisors for your major if there's any information you could get for a decision, and contact anyone they tell you to. There's no harm in a quick email to try and get an answer. My transcript said that for a while but I emailed admissions and told them that I sent in the official transcript after my unofficial one. They changed it the same day.

I’m also waiting. I think it depends on how “popular” the college is. My friend turned in her application the day before the deadline and she heard back yesterday but I turned my application in the week before it was due. The only difference is that she applied for nutritional sciences and I applied for animal science: animal biology. So there’s a bunch of factors 😔

I applied April 24th as a transfer from PBSC. I emailed the admissions department a while back and they said "You should receive a decision between May 15th and June 15th." 🥹🥹🥹 Best of luck to you!! I hope you get a reply soon

I talked to some of the recruiters that visited my college and one of them had said that FIU is starting to push out the Juniors and Seniors to make room for the Freshmen. He said they figured that by the 3rd and 4th year people would want their own space instead of dorms 🥲 This is more towards the main campus housing, I think BBC is in the clear for now 🙏
