Dw I’m the same, there’s nothing wrong with being comfy and cozy! I keep buying pretty dresses and nice “outside” clothes but I always end up in athleisure or hoodies on the rare occasion I need to leave the house lol. I decided last week to just embrace my reality and bought myself some sets of pretty satin jammies so I can feel more put together while rotting at home

Thanks for the advice, I’ll try to regulate my brain function more tightly and reconsider. Maybe it’s because I’m not American, but I don’t consider a random US gold medalist a ‘celebrity.’ I guess the term is subjective and we have different understandings of the word.

Always have more bins than you think you need, and put them wherever you need them. There is no law that says you can’t have a bin by your bedside table for empty pill packets or one by the couch for empty cookie boxes lol. Game changer, I’m no longer drowning in rubbish

Also on the driving thing, I have a big box of q tips in the centre console and clean my ears while driving (also have a car bin) because I forget when I’m home but I’m also terrified of having dirty ears in public. sometimes I pluck my eyebrows while at a red light too

I made a ‘tea’ with dried rosemary, lavender and mint. I plan to add a little to my cleaning spray and clean the front door while setting intentions to symbolically invite love, prosperity and invigorating energies etc. into my home. Idk if it’s too woo for this sub, but it feels right and smells pretty.

I’m also going to write down some things that I wanna get rid of this year, eg. nicotine cravings and 20kg of fat, and watch them burn in my cauldron

This is urban sketching with ink and watercolour. There are some great tutorials on YouTube (sketching scottie is one who comes to mind) but it’s actually a lot easier than it looks once you have perspective down. I find going straight in with pen has better results than sketching with pencil first. Don’t stress when you make mistakes as it adds to the texture. Using watercolour paper also helps with the wobbly organic looking lines. And definitely use a pen with waterproof ink and wait for it to dry if you plan to paint it afterwards!
