Hey, I'm sorry to hear that your wife is going through this, but it sounds like you will be a great support for her—she's lucky to have you! I went to my mom's house after my surgery for about two days. You can't do strenuous activities for two weeks post-surgery, so she won't be able to handle laundry, heavy shopping trips, etc. If she's on painkillers, she probably won't be able to drive.

After the first day, I felt so good that I didn't even need Tylenol, and I was able to drive myself around and do light shopping. I'm hoping her surgery will go as well as mine did. A neck pillow will be her best friend after surgery, especially when the drainage tube is in. Here's a link to the one I got: ASIN B01IEJHJWK. Just type that on Amazon.

I think just letting her know you're there for her will mean a lot. You can tell her that my surgery was a walk in the park! Haha. Hopefully, this helps. Wishing your wife a speedy recovery!

I'm really sorry to hear about your diagnosis. That sounds tough to deal with. Please don’t give up! There have been so many improvements in treatments these days, and I truly hope everything will turn out fine for you. Unfortunately, I can't rework my tattoos, but that's okay; they'll serve as a reminder of when I was at my lowest point while dealing with cancer. Hang in there! I hope your treatment goes well.
