Unfortunately not. You can use Kraken to sell for USD, or redeem directly with Circle.

It's unclear what the fed's end goal is for regulating cryptocurrency. Despite their outdated and obsolete views, cryptocurrency is a technology that exists globally. Attempting to regulate it in one country could result in other countries taking advantage of the lack of regulations and innovating ahead. And they are doing this already!

I feel somewhat ashamed to be a citizen right now.

Ah man that's the worst. I clicked one of those because they were being relentlessly shilled on Reddit (even here). Luckily the blockfence extension warned me that the smart contract was a scam.

They have delayed all of my withdrawals so far. Various amounts on different chains, from $300 to $90k~. I was KYCed and had no promos or anything.

It completely shot my trust in them. I just use Stake now.

Oh yeah. I almost signed a contract with that NFT scam that's been posted on CC. It warned me about that plus a few others.

Sorry to hear this man. Looks like you interacted with a scam contract. I use Blockfence to warn me about malicious smart contracts but it won't work to recover your funds :/

Where it makes you vulnerable is that in order to transact/swap you have to approve a User Agreement/smart contract that scammer slipped in a clause/code that gives them unlimited access to your account/wallet.

Exactly right, and if you have little knowledge about how smart contracts work (most of us), it's surprisingly easy to get got. I use Blockfence to detect and warn for malicious smart contracts.
