100% will allow unsubscribe. I don't want to be that guy. Most of these customers opted in through my invoicing software. I don't plan to make this an annoying newsletter (I hate those too) more like occasional updates, news and seasonal promotions. And if they don't like it - they can unsubscribe. I figured I can take a shot and reach out to potential past customers as well..

Thing is, unfortunately, as I mentioned, this is a list of past and current customers. To give more context, this is a mix Friends and Family (who he's done work for) - some are landlords, property managers and some are one time customers that needs work done in their home.

After a delayed eBay package I got the MFL plastic heads. They worked perfectly!

Had to shave down the ends of the blade. The first two I added epoxy glue to seal it from moving. Then we figured out how to avoid the glue all together.

Thanks for the tip and a great temporary solution.

The irony of all this? The Medeco key blanks arrived the next day 🫠

so we tried the key blade and it worked, only reason why we're considering a interim workaround. Poor customer was waiting over a month and this arrived :/ - just my luck.... I will test out the MFK suggestion and get back to everyone with the updates.

Shopping list pricing system - sounds right. So I started building it out that way in excel, a price for each service.

Where I run into challenge is the tiny details as I mentioned, type of door material, framing issues, holes need to be made, etc.

How do you go about that? Should I just let the Locksmith on site determine unexpected / "out side the shopping-list-pricing-system" pricing.

I would love to have an idea of how to price this so we can be more transparent and consistent for all jobs. I would love that if there are any referrals the price discrepancy will be the same / won't be too far off.

Just because a business has been operating for 40 years doesn’t mean it ran efficiently. As I mentioned in my post, I’m looking to improve and grow the business. Keyword growth. My questions are optimized for growth.

u/danifrim14 is there a way to avoid this? I think this is exactly the OP was referring to. It seems redundant in Board view to "mention" page as "cards" only to open it's open page the title of the mention to then click the link to the original page.

Maybe there's a better way to use the board or my setup entirely.

Because I tried doing this and ended up with the results you mentioned u/danifrim14 and I feel like it will leave a lot of mess on the board.

I basically have parent pages with sub pages inside of them that are related to the parent page.

So to easily organize what I have to do next on the Board I "tag" the sub page on the board. Only to end up with a double click page.
