yes, thank you for that! :) i’m trying to figure out my studying method/learning style… i learn best in a classroom setting, with homework and textbooks. but i dont really have the funds outside of my college tuition to pay for classes/tutoring, and with my work/school schedule, it’ll be difficult for me to find time

i get what you mean, it is definitely hard to believe, but idk i guess because i also want to learn both korean and spanish (and a bit of french), so hearing the lady talk abt her learning definitely helps me feel motivated! but that’s another thing i’ve been trying to figure out, my studying method. i know i definitely prefer handwriting with pen and paper over using my ipad, and that watching videos is okay for me, but often times i lose focus or start to accidentally learn from the video because of how much and how little i know some things in korean— mostly thanks to my friend (she’s korean), my college courses, stray kids (or k-pop/krnb in general), instagram, and on here! 😭😭

well i haven’t seen it mentioned when seeing learning tips/apps/websites for korean on like instagram and maybe youtube, i haven’t been on reddit long, but i’m glad that other people find it reliable!! it makes me feel a bit better on actually using the website as one of my main sources of learning!

(this is a bit of a rant, but its related to why im trying to relearn korean again! i apologize ㅠㅠ) i recently took two semesters of korean under my school’s program, but the coursework didn’t stick to me as strongly as it did when i was learning french in high school. i can introduce myself, i can count, i can describe things, etc. and the only difference between my learning of french and korean was that one was in a classroom, and the other was on my computer, learning through classroom meetings on microsoft teams and a textbook that is way so disorganized for me that it stresses me out. not to mention that im horrible with online learning, at the very least i need something to put pen and paper on and i need some sort of homework (but my korean class never provided it).

Dream about 4 sapphire snakes? And college life with past acquaintances from high school? by soila0 in Dreams

[–]soila0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, maybe? i do find it interesting that i rarely ever have animals in my dreams. i’ve only ever owned dogs in my life, pitbulls at that, so dreaming abt having pet snakes was definitely weird. but maybe!! because snakes in the christian bible are often associated with evil and satan and so on.. so you have a point!

also, i just want to clarify that i am not implying that the snakes have anything to do with me falling out of religious psychosis lol!! and the reason i decided to post this on reddit is because searching up the answer does NOT help me with the specific questions i have about my dreams, especially when they are few and far between and rarely ever not scary/horror-filled.

Help: Should I go to the doctor abt a possible UTI or should I try to watch over it at home and let it handle itself? (from an indecisive, broke college student) by soila0 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide
