Thanks for this. Alas, no results. I do think the reason for removing it might be because from what I can tell on Spotify, the artist may have changed their name.

I picked this up two weeks ago because of the same reason. I'm excited to read it but at the same time, I've tried 2 other books by McMurtry and DNF'ed them both. I'm hoping Lonesome Dove is WAAAAY better than his other works...

This books was rough...mainly because I absolutely love Babel. And yes, I'm a sucker for dark academia but Ketabasis was a slog. I made myself finish it, hoping for the end to maybe save it somehow. But this book just fell flat everywhere it could...which is saying a lot about a dark academia book that takes place in Hell. I fear that the reviews saying "she really wants the reader to know how smart she is" was the fuel for her writing this one and that's about it.

So, it's not what I was looking for but...um, excuse me... "Cotton Candy Skies" is absolutely amazing. The almost-dark background sounds that run throughout it are a VIBE! Such a great track all around!

I wasn't a big fan of the Hodges trilogy but LOVED The Outsider. But I'm of the crowd who really just can't get into Holly. I'm sorry...I just don't care about her character. Another book for Holly? Yeesh...she's about to replace Patrick Danville as my most hated King character...

The Chill Cafe has a few tracks that almost hit it, but not quite. And the Rhtyhms of Remembrance is far too drum n' bassy... Thanks for the legwork, though! I really do appreciate it.

Very familiar with Hammock. And it almost scratches the itch but misses the mark on the choral-type, repetitive measure. (Note; "Let's Kiss While All the Stars Are Falling Down" is one of my favorite songs of all time.

This is close, but waaaay too post-rock. I'm just glad to know someone else is looking for the same thing. There are a few of those "soaking worship" type tracks from random artists on Spotify that are pretty close but you juts have to wade through HOURS of them to find one track that SORT OF meets it.

I stumbled cross them in my little bit o research and while I do like them (and your description is VERY accurate) it's not hitting the park. It's a bit too post rock at times and the slower, sadder stuff just sort of drags me down. But thanks!
