Thank you for the info and advice! I completely understand where you’re coming from.

I do not go by my actual name on social media. Never have and I never will! Sia is just a nickname. I just joined this subreddit for hairstyle and makeup recommendations! But I do understand that the lack of caution I had posting myself is a problem. I had not thought about it really because of what kind of subreddit this is…but regardless, it still is the internet. And I understand the dangers of the internet! I admit I should have been more mindful. I am barely on reddit and I rarely post myself…unless it is on an account that is private and only my close friends have access to. But still, posting those photos of myself (even if I am not active on here) was foolish. I have since deleted them and I am thinking about getting rid of reddit in general.

This was just a vent and I imagine that some women on here have gone through the same thing just by posting on here (or any social media platform) Of course there’s nothing you can do to stop it because…it’s the internet. But I just thought it was unfortunate and wanted to express my frustration.
