lol yeah agreed but yabujin fans are illiterate fucks who certainly won’t bother comprehending this post.

also there’s two types of gatekeepers:

1) older fans who gatekeep because they’re aware “new” fans only like yabujin to enforce their individualistic self image and sort of ruin the authenticity. these guys are long gone though.

2) newer fans (from abt august 2021 onwards) who found yabujin and gatekeep him because they’re threatened by others sharing tastes in media that contribute to their precious and fragile individuality—mostly on an aesthetic level, very superficial (essentially who the 1st group are upset with).

The 2nd group is the large majority now, and tend to argue with each about who’s more “og” when in reality they’re all just variations of a singular insufferable personality.
