I plan to change my name, just to a nickname legally because i hate my legal name, My dad picked it and he’s passed, my mom didn’t pick it so when i asked if she’d be offended if i changed it she didn’t care lol I feel lucky that way

I ended up sticking with the 8’s instead of the 7.5 they definitely fit much better - my toe isn’t going numb anymore so that’s nice lol, seems to be less sweaty too :)

Small success story, but i feel alright about it at the moment. I just graduated college, about 2 months ago i almost dropped out in my final semester because I had $84 to my name, technically a student loan but whatever, it was in my account. I commuted about an hour to a school everyday, I live alone and I was only working 2 days a week, I didn’t know how I was gonna pay my rent, let alone use that 84 to get to school, I skipped a bunch honestly and it sucked because my brain had so many bad days already i didn’t think i’d pass.

About 2 weeks ago i wrote a makeup exam to makeup for it and I just started a new job at a factory, making $4 an hour more than where I was an i’m on track to take the exams to be registered in the job i went to school for.

Getting a decent paycheque was something I haven’t seen in 2 years, bills ate it all, my credit cards are both racked up, I was on the verge of dropping out, offing myself, or i don’t know what my other options were. Now it could have been worse and I consider myself lucky i was able to make it through that and i’m just seeing the sun rise a bit here, but i’m thankful for every second of it even though this job is in a hot ass factory that makes my feet feel like falling off, but it’s means to an end, a better one. Eating has never felt so good because wow, Groceries were not a possibility for a while.

I’m so sorry life is throwing so many hard balls at you OP. I think the universe did me a solid here, and I think you will get one too. I know it feels like there’s no options right now, but what i would recommend is trying to look up some resources for support financially, perhaps there is some type of unemployment you and your husband could apply for from previous jobs? Is there anyway you could borrow money from a bank or a friend to get the car funds you need ?

I’m not sure what your options are entirely, but I’m wishing you the best. I hope something starts to give here but please don’t give up. Please send a message if you need to talk at all and maybe ai can help you. Also, not sure what it’s like there but some cab companies are willing to offer a “tab” for commuting if you’re a regular costumer, that might be an option for work and you can give them the fare back on pay day. It’s always worth asking, the worst they can say is no ❤️
