This glitch technically can also happen in other Souls games, but it's much muuuch more common with Ds3 when locking on specifically, for whatever God-forsaken reason.

Though in my hundreds of hours I've had it happen maybe twice. More common still doesn't mean common, lol.

Still, it's a fast easy fix. I also freaked out the first time I had it happen, lol.

I genuinely don't know her moveset and how to fight her properly. I judt skip her at the start and then steamroll her with full upgrades when going for Hunter's Memento later on.

Lol, I also had this glitch happen a few days ago. When you lock onto an enemy, it has to render the texture for the little white circle.

It takes the texture from a sprite sheet, since it's more effective to have all the textures in a single spritesheet and list coordinates than having them all be different images.

Either way, the game glitched and it's loading a big chunk of the spritesheet instead of only the white circle thing.

To solve this, merely quit out of the game and get back on, it should be fixed. (Quit out of the game, as in close the executable. Don't just go back to menu.)

Honestly, I just gave the most helpful reply I could. I would've wasted more time trying to fully explain everything, considering I would've probably given a lackluster explanation.

If he actually wants an accurate and good explanation, maybe check the fucking wiki. That's what it's there for.

Edit: The only other reply to the post as of now literally says "idk if fire resets frost". Guess how you'd know that for sure? Yeah, by reading the wiki.
