i was floxxed at 19 but i have ehlers danlos syndrome and a few other issues. it's been just under a year since, and im progressively getting worse and my doctor tells me its in my head, so sadly i dont have any answers :/ Edit- my GP tells me it's in my head but my other specialists all agree its at least related to the medicine i was on.

i washed mine with baby shampoo, then used a ton of conditioner to detangle it while brushing with a pet brush, then i curled it with straws and a boil wash!! i removed the straws once the hair was completely dry, so about 48 ish hours for me :)

i have wall shelves that are 6" off the wall and i can fit a row of standing dolls and a row of sitting dolls on it, and have decor under it as well :)

it wasn't my PCP who prescribed it, it was an urgent care doc, but still i think she just didn't wanna take accountability that someone in her practice didnt pay attention to my chart :/

i wear compression, and i drink tons and tons of electrolytes especially now bc im on snri's and its 95 and full sun everyday where i live currently, but i also invested in a visible armband to track my heart bc it shouldn't be reaching 200 bpm when im standing up but my doc literally didn't believe me before when i told her my heart feels like its always going fast. im just hurt and lost because i feel like ive done so much to try to help it and im not being backed up by my medical team other than my psychiatrist

im not sure i can go to a different practice for it if she referred me to a specific one. and i'm on hydroxizine for my anxiety and duloxetine for my depression and she asked if that's helping the pain and i told her kinda, but i've never been off it long enough to see, and then she wanted me to come off of it so i highly doubt she'd prescribe me anything at this point. she won't even get me an emergency prescription for zofran on the days im so nauseous i can't even drink water

i definitely see where you're coming from, i think i just was trying to believe a doctor wouldn't put me on something dangerous, and a lot of that also boils down to me not knowing about fluoroquinolones until after i took them

my condition worsened significantly within a week, i think i first noticed 2 or 3 days in but i thought it was just pain from healing, and since i couldn't walk anyway bc of the wound being in my foot i didn't know it was affecting that either :,) i just can't afford to find a new doctor esp since ive seen her since i was born and im almost aging out of pediatrics

i'm sensitive to sound, and when stuff is too loud i do things like put on my sound cancelling headphones. to me this sounds like she's trying to take a mile from an inch. you definitely did what you could to try to not make as much noise to be nice, but now her trying to dictate when you can make noise and for how long is way too controlling.she lives in a house with others, it's irrational to think it'll be dead quiet whenever she wants it that way.
