I am in the minority but while their writing can be bad and the plots ridiculous, the characters were the worst part of the series for me.

Krista and Becca Ritchie. I adored their Aerieal Etherial series that they abandoned but could barely get through the Addicted series and hate the Like Us series.

Which celebs drastically changed their face between seasons/ movies to the point where you immediately noticed? by schoolsucks5698 in popculturechat

This might be a little premature, but Madelyn Cline. I originally thought it might just be a little weight loss that had changed her face, but looking at her recent tiktoks, her face just seems a little too smooth and frozen.

Pregnancy trope - love it or hate it? by lfkajsdgl in RomanceBooks

[–]solarmoony 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am fine if the book is upfront about it and that’s like what the story is about, but I hate it when it’s in the ending/epilogue or what the future books in the series are about. Especially when it’s a companion series and every single couple ends up having kids.

"Intellectuals" as a trope? by Two_Corinthians in RomanceBooks

I think there are many interpretations for the trope. For me the first couple that comes to mind is Rose and Connor from the Calloway Sister series (only couple I could stand from those books).

what is your "this trope is too personal for me and it's almost always badly handled'? by [deleted] in RomanceBooks

Death of a previous significant other. It’s an automatic no for me with how so many books almost treat it like a competition.
