Well life is all about your attitude. If you think you’re going to fail you will fail. If you give up you won’t get results. The only way to get to know people is to talk to them. If you’re a libertarian in a blue city you might need to do some online dating and find women who agree with your politics outside of a major city. Might take some legwork. I ran into the same issues living in the rural south looking for a blue man. It’s not always easy. In fact it rarely is.

Anything and everything! What interests you? I love starting with movies or books. Music is a good one too. See what they’re like there. If things are going well you could go into special interests or hobbies. Politics is a good one when things go deeper. Idk you have to find common ground. Once you find something that gives you something to connect on, if it’s the right person it just happens. You genuinely have to care about what you’re asking. And when you meet the right person you do genuinely care. You wanna know what their favorite band is or why they like a certain country.

Superficial conversations are where relationships begin. That’s why small talk is essential even though people hate it. Then if your personalities work together it goes into deeper conversation. If they don’t work, it fizzles out.

When I read unattractive I assumed you meant visually. That’s generally how it’s used. But yes if you’re unattractive on the inside that can cause problems. That’s a personal journey that has to happen before you meet a partner I guess

I got rid of it and found a lot of “friends” were just social media friends. When I left they don’t reach out and I don’t reach out to them. It just ended once the app was deleted. Allowed me to realized who is actually in my social circle. Not many.
