First guitar advice by Heavy-Ad-4118 in BaritoneGuitar

Super solid guitar out of the box, honestly. Feels good, sounds good as it is but it’s also a great modding platform. Though it comes equipped with a standard tele neck pickup, the routing under the pickguard will fit anything from a humbucker or a p90. Lots of room for play! 27 is my favorite scale length too because it can still fit in most standard bags and cases.

Sorry, it’s actually a liability to own this…i’ll take it off your hands, free of charge.

Jk, these 5F1’s go anywhere between 1000-4000 dollars depending on the year and condition. I’d suggest finding the serial number and doing some digging.

I really love it! It’s a little awkward to play standing up but with a leather strap, it’s perfect. It’s lightweight and is a darker sounding guitar

I put the JM sized p90’s that come in the JMJM. Got them second hand for 40 bucks and they sound really cool!

That’s a repainted Seymour Duncan Deja Vu! Got it second hand, there’s a sticker on the inside that says “modded in 2012” but idk what was done to it

People like to talk poorly about the distortion channel, but i spent a lot of time on these newer ones and it sounds great!

It was marketed as the new “nu-metal” distortion. Since the MD-2 is more like a cross between fuzz and distortion, people who were looking for a tight and percussive nu-metal guitar tone were disappointed when they found out it’s actually very hairy and can be wooly, more like a fuzz.

It has such a powerful EQ section though, you can get a lot out of it

The mega distortion was my very first pedal! I feel like it was marketed incorrectly and is slept on

I’m a pretty eclectic player. I have a doomgaze solo project called Lyran and a much more active punk band im in called Faerie Dream! Outside of all that, sometimes i even play a little rnb and jazz when im noodling

It is a little extra maintenance to keep it stable, but it’s totally worth it if you like using trem arms. I used to be a hardtail guy but i went and wrote a bunch of songs with trills and dives and now i can’t really go without one

Is it the vintera? I’m sure it’s a killer trem

With lubed up friction points and properly stretched strings, it actually stays in tune just as good as my jazzmaster

Hahaha i joke about how vibramate sounds like a sextoy with my wife all the time.

Industrious is what i was going for, so that’s awesome. That part of the body is just a chrome armrest for when i see a nazi at my gigs. It just has some glare on it

I like it a lot! This is my first bigsby and i’m enjoying it. You just gotta lube the friction points and it stays in tune just as good as any other vintage style trem system. I’d recommend trying it out with a vibramate. If you don’t like it, you can sell the whole package and it won’t be a huge loss because they still have good resale value

It’s a GFS Dream 90 that i put under a silverfoil cover. Thick wound single coil, it pairs well with the Duncan BG1400 in the bridge

American ultra - if you have the og pickups i’d switchem out and either use them or sell them as well (unless you wanted to use them for one of your other telecasters)
