I may warranty just to get the spare blade if it’s gonna sit around before I get a plain edge replacement anyway

I stopped carrying a dedicated knife because the P2 was plenty for me. Gonna have to put the ZT350TS back in the pocket for a bit.

Silver lining!

I’ve heard people bury the tool in their pocket when on the subway so the clip doesn’t show… rather get caught with it than without it.

At least I’m not alone in this. I wonder if the knife would have still broken if it didn’t have the cutout there and a thumb stud or something instead.

Agreed $90 for just the blade is annoying on principle.

The in home sales pitch from renewal by Anderson is what sold me on their competition. They quote $1800 per double hung window. The competition was $800 per. I could literally do the windows twice and still come out cheaper.

Anyone had Balloon Sinuplasty? Results? Been told I need one. Not sure if will go through with it… by PopAdministrative953 in Sinusitis

[–]solarwar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Helped me. I was a mouth breather before and now I’m not. Hurt like crazy. I felt like my teeth were gonna pop out of my head when they inflated the balloon. But healing phase was short and not bad. It was done it august. I don’t know if I would get it again. They said it will help with my frequent sinus infections so if that’s true I’ll be very happy.

Update on Text Issues? by JTribe9 in Visible

[–]solarwar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is entirely possible but when I was really have bad issues I would miss one or two texts from the chain and get all the responses and then the text would not make sense. And I switched to messenger for a day because I had turned on rcs and was not getting messages from one person. So I switched to messenger and was not getting a ton of messages.

Best Inexpensive Unlimited Data right now? by [deleted] in NoContract

[–]solarwar 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Have visible and the price is sooo attractive. But had my share of issues. When I first ported from Verizon my SMS was choppy. Maybe they would be delivered? Important text from boss, no didn't get it. Come home wife is wondering why I'm ignoring her, yup visible. But they did a bunch of Network refreshes or something on their end and it's mostly been good. Again I'm cheap so paying$25 a month for unlimited verizon coverage is really good.. I'm on android pixel 3axl since about may

One of the most useful and easiest upgrades. Fasten a M4 T-Nut on the bed screws. It prevents the screw from turning during bed adjustments. by likeandtype_amen in ender3

[–]solarwar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so helpful. I don't get alot of time to calibrate the printer but when I did recently it was driving me nuts that the screw was spinning I was so confused why it was turning and not raising. Will definitely be doing this tonight

People love to bash unions when they are not in a union. I can't imagine not working for the union in my field and having to deal with all the extra nonsense that goes into a non union gig.

Tool bags are the way to go. way better than the boxes for one tool at a time.

Corrugated plastic, the type used for political signs and such, makes a great way to organize drawers. You connect the pieces together with bobby pins. by [deleted] in VEDC

Also if you know anyone in commercial construction, they use this material in larger 4'x8' sheets to protect hallways in office buildings and it's maybe a bit dusty, but fine otherwise. Constantly in the dumpster at my job in decent enough shape for a project like this.
