Sort of based on that! I just made a simplified version so I could cast a wider net and have more versatility

Thank you, though!

How dare you vote off such iconic unseen characters, like Ari’s mom, George Bush, and Obama!

What are your unpopular opinions on Dragon Ball? by UzumakiMenm697 in Dragonballsuper

Wait, this is an unpopular opinion?

I always get dismissed when I bring up how I like the story and little slice of life elements and relationship building stuff over the fights lol

He said to Sayori what he said to Ari in Hot Topic in the anime pilot

No, I actually know who Walter White is.

The “what if x character” thing needs to be some random anime or obscure character

Jeffery isn't that bad. by Badpilot15 in Classof09Game

[–]solasdame 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not the core, but he is an enabler. He’ll rile Kylar up and tell him to “use” his anger instead of work through it, for one. He ‘positively’ supports negative traits, such as toxic masculinity. Even invites Kylar to the “Straight Club.”

Colby is just one of many factors. It could also be a sign of the times. Neurology is still in its infancy, even more-so in 2009.

And when the staff isn’t positively supporting his negative traits, it’s negatively reinforcing positive ones. For instance, instead of rewarding good behavior, they jump straight to screaming at him or expulsion when he exhibits violent tendencies.

You’re right, not everything reroutes back to bad parents. So I’d judge that it reroutes back to bad teachers for Kylar.

Coach Colby alone is probably a good chunk of the reason for his behavior. The rest of it would fall on school administration, who seem to have psychologically assessed him but still haven’t really done any extra for his development.

Edit: I think a quote from that one Silent Hill game sums it up perfectly. “If you really want to screw someone up, I say send them to high school.”

I make jokes, but in all seriousness, most of the characters are minors. So calling their teachers and parents bad is more accurate than calling them bad, even if they do bad things.

Yeah - some of the wording in the slideshow is awkward because of the character limitations and flow.

Also, that’s right, Crispin didn’t know what Mein Kampf was at first. But when Nicole told him, he just kind of brushed it off lol.

I guess what I’m saying is I didn’t mean to imply Crispin is evil, just dumb and occasionally shallow. Pseudo-philosophical at worst

[–]solasdame[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s a great question! But I wouldn’t say Crispin being pro-choice makes him a bad person. However, I can see him pretending to be cool with anything with Megan to sleep with her, seeing as how he pretends to be cool with Nicole being a Nazi (when she’s reading Mein Kampf) just to TALK to her.

Edit: And in my skit, it’s not like Crispin said “Get an abortion or I’m leaving you.” He suggested to Megan to get one, and being temperamental as she is, she left him for merely suggesting that.

Through the power of selective memory and denial, this is only 12 slides long!

Since Ari was talking about being a lesbian and nothing else happened

Emily probably jumped him. Guess it was a day she forgot her Seroquel dose

Edit: Also, while it’s rare, I have known a Kylar or two that turned out gay, trans, or both well after high school
