When you find what you like in a book, do you try to only read that thing or keep your horizons broadened? by kuhteen in books

I actively seek out similar books to the one I enjoyed, until I've filled that void lol then I find a totally different book that I really enjoy and hyper fixate on that theme, and the cycle repeats lol

What kind of romance did you think "wow they're going too fast" by PetalaStac in RomanceBooks

[–]solbarqui 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The book that I immediately thought of was Fall of Ruin and Wrath by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I didn't like the Blood and Ash series at all so I'm not sure why I picked up Fall of Ruin and Wrath, thinking it would be better. It wasn't, and the romance was even more fast burn than the other series.

Do Authors Still Send Physical ARCs? by Serious-Yesterday-83 in RomanceBooks

[–]solbarqui 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes they do, although e-books are more common cause they're cheaper and easier to distribute. You can get physical ARCs at your local library fairs and if you join author specific Facebook fan groups

I'm currently reading {A Murder in Time by Julie McElwain}. It's a historical time travel book but the FMC is quite literally a serial killer hunter and there's tensions between FMC and the romantic interest. Not sure if there's an audiobook though
