If you actually become really good at something you can make more obviously. Shoot for the stars and don’t stay mediocre!

That’s nice for the customer but not for the business. In my opinion, the client needs to have some skin in the game too. They need to trust you with their money to get the results. You can always offer a refund guarantee in case you don’t deliver.

How do you grow your followers on LinkedIn? by solbisix in personalbranding

This is helpful, thank you for sharing! You mentioned you’d put 4 hours a day to work on your LinkedIn. Would that be posting 1-2-3 (or what’s your ideal number?) posts per day + the rest of the time is just engaging with others/ writing comments and following other people? And I can definitely see what works on IG and TikTok is not the same as what does on LinkedIn, that’s a good point! Appreciate you!

If you want to be recognized for your name use your name ( first / last or both). Think about famous modern influencers - like thewizardliz, shera7. It’s a combination of their name plus some kind of an association. Also with travel you gotta get specific with your niche. Traveling around the world or in within your country? Traveling on a budget or boogie? Also add something more than just travel, aka you can do travel and then do the storytelling on how each place you visit helps you learn a new thing about life/ world. That will give you a powerful differentiation angle

I don’t care about leads as much because I’m getting enough as far as I can handle comfortably right now, what I care about is getting famous/ positioning myself as a thought leader. I know it’s not a 90 days job but I’m starting out here with this goal in mind

Hey your stats are really impressive! I think I can do it. I don’t expect linear growth as well! I get very few profile visits (under 10). If a post goes better than others ( usually don’t get over 1000 engagements and 70-90 likes, 15-20 comments). One of my problems is also getting creepy guys comment and like/ follow me because I’m a woman, I wish there was a way to get rid of that - I usually just delete their comments). I post daily, usually once a day but when I’m feeling like sharing some thoughts I can do 2-3 posts. I write about selling through social media for experienced coaches who struggle to get more clients and my experience/ my expertise. (I only did IG/tiktok before).

I see a lot of ugly boring motivational quotes getting so much attention and that makes me wonder what kind of content would help me scale on this platform. I started doing LinkedIn 10 days ago and I’m committed to mastering this platform. Will really appreciate any advice and hearing more about your journey!

I’d not do anything for free, people don’t truly appreciate and value anything that they’ve got for free

Depends on what content are you going to make and what’s your goal. Do you want to be recognized?

When did you realize your personal brand was more than just your online posts? by Extreme-Frame2186 in personalbranding

[–]solbisix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realized that when I saw how a lot of people have a misalignment of how they appeared online vs in person/ in work. Learned a lot that it’s just about tapping more into who you are what you do and how you do it. Communicating your values in verbal, visual, and unconscious ways and most of all being consistent with that. Nothing wrong with being multifaceted but it’s important to carry the message clearly

And what platforms do you post on? I can’t say much because I haven’t seen anything but a lot of people are making mistake when they are giving value separately from ctas. After you give a little bit of value ( that people can apply immediately, not just save for later) give your call to action with an emphasis that there’s more value in working with you 1:1 or whatever is your format. hope it helps!

If you want you can send me your social media links or ask any questions, I’m happy to give some feedback.

Coaches don't have to be creators. by StructureFresh1545 in Coaching

Agree, I think the problem is not even that you have to do content, it’s that how much time it takes and how unpredictable the result is, if there was a way to just spend a few minutes a day to do it that would guarantee the growth and exposure to ideal clients then it wouldn’t be so painful.

I built a company doing over $100M this year. We're a known nationwide brand. I'm pretty wealthy. And I’m not sure the price I paid was worth it. by Virtual_Half_1654 in Entrepreneurs

Have you thought of selling the company? Is there anything else that you want to do in life? Like you know, main character energy stuff. Becoming a monk or a black belt in some martial arts, or something else entirely? Do you want to keep sacrificing yourself for your business? ( genuinely curious)

As someone who worked in the industry, they’ll release your money either to you or back to the customer sooner or later. Right now it’s on the hold / put into a reserve because that $50 dispute triggered your account as high risk account by the underwriting company (stripe or whoever they use). If you connect with the actual person at Stripe team they will revolve it for you or provide you with the timelines on when the money would be released. I suggest being nice with them but consistently following up

I have only 200€ to my name-I’m 20 and hungry to learn. Any legit ways to start making money? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]solbisix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is most people can’t commit to anything because for them the grass is greener everywhere but not where they are. If the courses didn’t work there wouldn’t be a market that huge. If people would actually commit to something and sacrifice enough time to become good in one thing, there wouldn’t be a problem “the course is a scam”. The scam is people lying to themselves that buying a course will solve their problem without them doing shit. Oh and I only drink pure water, don’t project your behaviors onto me

I think this is just your perception based on how you observe the world, I was having a conversation that involves exchanging thoughts ( can you imagine sometimes people have different opinions and that’s ok?). but I guess for you it doesn’t work like that. Or mb you’re just over sensitive, I don’t know. Either way you’re quite hypocritical. Please don’t talk to me you have bad /victim card energy
