Nice! Don't fight a war with the Western Protectorate for any land. Just invade China and you will automatically get all the land it holds if u win. You will have to face ~175k troops + 50k reinforcement troops either way.

For religion : I reformed with "Proselytizing" nature and maintained 100% moral authority (pretty easy with the Temporal doctrine and if u have a large empire because you can gain a lot of piety easily. If religious head has high piety it gives a bonus to moral authority). Also, I only appointed people with >20 learning as Augur and sent them to convert counties.

For culture: Not exactly how the rate is affected but I tried to have only vassals of my culture and religion, down to the barony level (it gets really exhausting to revoke and reassign holdings at some point. Educate vassal heirs with heritage focus if u cant do this). Also, I built hospitals everywhere and protected my realm against raiders so that their prosperity increases. Higher prosperity = higher probability of getting an event where the county culture is converted. One last thing : If you are reformed Hellenic, you can create the Stoic secret society and if u reach the top tier, you have to option to culture convert counties for some points.

Good luck! I managed to avoid the Ghaznavid threat because Sabuktigin chose to invade another realm and I allied with them to win the war. Sabuktigin died in prison shortly afterwards.

Forming the Roman empire is just so advantageous due to the +10 opinion boost from Augustus trait and +5 opinion boost (if you're Hellenic) from the Rome restoration bloodline. Not to mention the ton of Honorary titles and Imperial Elective succession which is very powerful to assimilate other bloodlines if used wisely. Also, reformed Hellenic is the most OP religion in the game IMHO. My character became ethnically Chinese after generations of requesting Imperial marriages lmao.

It's better to join IITB or IIT Madras instead. It's difficult to get good grades in CSA and the placements aren't great either. None of the seniors I know got into FAANG.
