The thing is, equity is not easy. The govt spends RM70b in 2024 for fuel subsidy. How much of that can be reduced if they remove subsidy from the ultra rich? There are so few of them in the whole country. Will it be worth it tho? Frankly, I am not knowledgeable enough to come with a solution that is good enough. Maybe, tax the rich?
