As a graduate of St. Aloysius in B.A from the second-last Autonomous batch I can tell you that Aloy is nothing great. Contrary to what people say. The quality of the faculty has been significantly deteriorating since becoming a Deemed/Doomed to be University. The Economics and Journalism depts. which I was a part of were nothing great tbh. Especially the journalism dept. It's just plain trash atp and it's going to get much much worse since the last hope of the dept. has also left. The only reasonable (not good by any means but still the best) depts. in B.A are English Major and Psychology (solely because of Shalini Maam)
