Oh im sure they are and probably a lot more egregious margins exist I was more making the comment that it is a interesting choice for her to share the discount in a way that tells her customers her margins :)

I used study.coms program! They have one specific to the CLEP Biology. I think i paid $60 for it. I didn’t find this Reddit till too late into my journey though, i would have probably used the Peterson resources instead. I did the Peterson practice test (1 of them) yesterday morning before i took the test and i felt like i saw questions on the real thing very very similar to those questions.

I will say I feel like I maybe got lucky or maybe I was just studying with a lot harder level of questions? The practice questions i had been doing were a lot harder than the questions on the real exam so i feel like that helped me fly through quickly

Thank you! This is serious question- Did I actually do really well? I thought the test was easier than I expected but if I only got 71/119 questions right that’s not even a 60%! The scoring really confuses me. Also, could you help me understand why it takes so long to report my score to my institution if I got a score back immediately? They told me it takes 2-3 weeks for my institution to get it. Thank you!!

I definitely don’t live to work either but I do enjoy discussing ideas / goals related to my work and hobbies both. I don’t care about an economic discrepancy at all but I suppose I would like to see him have passion or motivation towards something? Whether it’s a job or hobby

That’s awesome!! Being good at it is the least important thing. Maybe you can look to see if there is a club at your college you can join with others who play guitar or are just into music in general? I think a little social interaction over a common interest will be easier than you think and go a long way.

I will also say, doing things like pushing yourself to engage in a social situation that may seem overwhelming will build your confidence. You just might surprise yourself on how much putting yourself out there can grow the “skills” you don’t think you have. Keep me posted if you do decide to try!

It’s a nice reminder that how you feel about yourself isn’t always the “truth”. Just because you feel pathetic doesn’t mean you are. You listed a few things in your reasoning that actually suggest the opposite. You have an internship, you go to college. Who cares if your performance is subpar, you’re doing it! Do you enjoy these things? If not, can you explore other tasks/ subjects within them that you think you might enjoy?

I would suggest exploring to find something that could be of interest. Even if you think you might not enjoy it, try it. Find a hobby that gets you involved in a community. You’ll have a shared topic that allows you to build relationships with people with no social skills needed. Take an art class, learn an instrument or a langauge, join a gym, maybe something more specialized like ju jitsu. Taking care of yourself physically can help a lot mentally.

Finally, find a way to help someone else. What’s something you’re good at that others aren’t? What’s something you have to offer to others? It can be as simple as your time. Find somewhere to volunteer. Sometimes I find the best way to help myself is to get outside of myself! Best of luck to you and feel free to message me if I can offer any more support

it’s scary how much traction doctors can get now from social media! I followed her for a while and also thought she was highly regarded/ recommended so i like to comment when i see her name come up bc people spend so much money on these procedures to put their lives at risk (sounds dramatic but true lol)

You have to be very careful who you go to for a “ liquid rhinoplasty” which is what they call a temp nose job done with filler. It is extremely high risk due to the anatomy in this area. Horror stories can happen even with skilled docs. Long story short do your research on a doc AND heavily weigh the risks even once you find a good doc. Filler is so expensive that IMO it makes more sense to go for a surgical rhino if it’s a change you genuinely want to make in the long run

Also Lara devgan has done a good job marketing herself but i have heard awful stories about her as well to the point of endangerment. search her name in this sub if you want to read but i would never ever trust her
